A note on objects.
We can restore repair and fix many hand crafted pieces weather you have a chipped or cracked bowl a damaged or broken figurine or a tarnished surface to make good. We do not neccasarily fix moving parts or functioning objects ie mechanical or electrical.
Object
Rehydration of ceremonial grass fibre woven garment in order that the piece could be mounted flat for display. This object is from a private collection.
Object
Heraldic textile emblem on a cardboard substrate . The eblem was detached from its velvit fabric support in order for conservation cleaning of the fragile metal threads. Once complete, the emblem was re-attached to the support cloth. This work was undertaken for Humphries and Jones and the object is from Buckfast Abbey.
